France (2) Pretty as a Picture

First of all, a bit of a 'hello my dear' to new followers and a big thank you for the compliment! I'm dashing this evening (I'd like to say it's because I'm doing something stupidly exciting but it's tragically just because I'm in desperate need of a long bath and early night), however I'm looking forward to exploring all your blogs too.

Anyhooo...France is so picturesque so it seemed rude not to share some of these beauties with you. These are just some of the places we stumbled upon on our travels- at moments I was convinced I stumbled onto a movie set- they were just too idyllic to be real!

If you're interested, these we mainly taken in: Chalon, Macon, Saint Genoux and Dijon (and yes, we bought some mustard in Dijon)!

Well done everyone for surviving the dreaded Wednesday 'hump' day!xxx

    1. You know, t he was a bit of a superstar! Considering the drive/ferry journey each way was over 15 hours he very rarely asked "Are we nearly there yet?" He gets travel sick too so he can't read/ draw/ play on his DS etc as it makes him ill. We found the best way to pass the time was Steve to read to us- we read Roald Dahl's 'Boy' and 'Watership Down' and Ben loved both.x

  5. It's been so long since I've been on blogger. Love all your pics from France, it makes me so jealous. Jealous of where you live and jealous of where you travel! One day I would love to visit London...one day.
