I went for lunch with our friends and they suggested we headed to Krisp Kreme for some coffee and doughnuts. Being new, there was a bit of a queue but we didn't mind as the staff gave the kids free hats and balloons, we watched the doughnuts being made and were given a free doughnut which was still warm from being made-amazing!
The plan had been simply to buy one each but then...
Well, these things happen don't they?
Happy Sunday everyone.xxx
Mmm, Krispy Kreme, we have concessions in our local Tesco. No good for the waistline I tell you! Speaking of which, congrats on your lovely news xxx
ReplyDeleteKrispy Kreme is huge out here. I prefer Daylight Donuts, which taste more like Winchell's Donuts, which are the donuts of my childhood lol. I have donut issues!!
ReplyDeleteYummy! I miss krispy kreme, I wish I still lived by one :)

ReplyDeleteonce you start you just can't stop!! love Krispy Kreme. I remember when one opened up in my hometown--people camped out for two days just to be the first group in for donuts. crazy ;)
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment today! hope you have a wonderful week.
Yes, they are amazing!!!! Can't imagine living in a place that did not have Krispy Kreme doughnuts, nothing beats them!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a Krispy Kreme around, but they were giving out samples at Costco once. Fortunately, I actually didn't like them. Tasted too greasy for me. But, they were plain ones. They didn't have the lovely toppings like yours do.
ReplyDeletehaha i have actually never had one either...which i should probably keep it that way because if i do i won't stop!

I grew up with Krispy Kreme in Virginia but Dunkin Donuts ruled the cities our family members lived in up North. I'm glad you had a Krispy Kreme experience :).

All in the name of research, I munched my way through quite a few of those in the tray (guilty blush). I think my fav's were white choc& pistachio and the salted caramel and dark chocolate. That said, none tasted quite as good as the plain one we were given in the queue that was freshly baked and still warm!
ReplyDeleteI love watching the donuts being made! They are my absolute favorite!
