{The gorgeous architecture of the station}
{Kitchen goodies on a stall}
{Fresh bread- it's a shame you can't add smell-a-vision to this photo}
{Sunnies and gloves}
{Olives- enough said}
{Ben and his cousin enjoying a greasy burger}
{I bought this beautiful light for £12, it's going to hang in our entrance}
Hope you're all enjoying some sunshine where you are (we're certainly not), at least we're over the hump day tomorrow.xxx
it looks really lovely there! I love the idea of popping out of the metro into the market. I just found a Whitley Bay hankie at a jumble sale which I know is just down the road. Where are you based? My Dad's mum was from Blyth, just a bit further away
ReplyDeleteWhat a small world! We're planning on moving to Whitley Bay area in the next 12 months or so! We live in Benton and I grew up in South Gosforth which is just along the road.x
DeleteWhat a pretty spot for a market! Your new light fixture is wonderful, I am on the hunt for something pretty for my entry too. We had a bit of sun today but mostly drab gray skies and rain. Have a happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure with your eye for interiors you'll find something beautiful.x
DeleteThat market looks fantastic and I love your new light fixture. We had grey skies today too! Looking forward to some sun...soon!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great market, it's not the cheapest but most stalls are reasonable and willing to barter.x
DeleteThose items look so pretty, especially the sunnies and the kitchen items! Wish I lived close to that place :)

Oh how gorgeous! What a smashing way to spend a day--
ReplyDeleteI want to go! Is that a sign of a sick mind that someone would want to travel the world just to get better junk? Love tagging along with you and becoming your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteNot at all! I generally find myself lusting after the American's finds.x
Deleteoh my gosh! so many olives - love it!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I wish there was smell-a-vision on that bread picture, too! It looks so delicious. That market looks like a lovely place :)

What a special place. I would love to take a look around - from the photos you posted I can tell I would have trouble not buying something. The architecture of the building is wonderful as well. I wish the sun would shine here too *sighh.

Looks like such a magical place. I'm sure I could find tons of goodies there!
ReplyDeleteHello. Thanks for the comment. The cushion is really not tricky to make at all. Its basically a tube of fabric gathered at the top and bottom with a cushion pad popped in and then the gathers pulled tight and a button to cover up the messy bits. Have a go on a small scale I am sure you would love it. Having a trawl through your blog now it's 'such fun' to find a blog you haven't seen before. Debs X
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm the same and love a new blog find. I might have a go at the mini version although I doubt it would look as lovely as yours, you obviously have some talent in that area.x
DeleteOh MY!!! I want to check this market out in person... dribble n drool lol!!!
