A really CHEESY Valentine!

So, being a rather unconventional couple, we decided our Valentine's treat would be... a cheese tasting session at Northumberland Cheese- link! This was something we had booked for awhile but hadn't had the chance to use it, with Grandma offering to babysit, this morning was the perfect opportunity for a morning date session! We got togged up in some really attractive gear to tour the cheese dairy:

We found out all about how the cheese is made by hand and then we got to do my favourite part... the tasting!

Yum yum! Hardly in-keeping with my current diet healthy eating plan but this was one treat I couldn't turn down. A truly unusual but very tasty date. x

  4. i can't respond to you via email so here you go... the cake jars just took time to fill. allow about 5 minutes each. i used food coloring jells instead of drops. that was MUCH easier and quicker (both neon and regular gel dies. it really wasn't hard. i HATE to bake, and it was easy.

  8. Thank you to Denise for her tips, if any of you like baking, she made the most incredible rainbow cakes in jam jars for her daughter's birthday. Rx

  9. Such a cute, original idea for a Valentine's date. And I liked that you did it in the morning too! So great! Sometimes earlier dates are the best because you're not so tired from the day.
